The Development Activity Program provided me a platform to understand the ground realities of subject matter I had learnt in my introductory courses. As a freshman, it was important for me to put my technical knowledge into practice for gauging my area of specialisation, and DAP as a program, helped me do just that. Additionally, this program helped me grasp an NGO's work structure and functions, which in turn proved useful for subsequent work opportunities with foundations that aimed to serve the community.
